Fun: 2. 0 out of 5 stars bought Turtle Beach X1 headset, worked well at first. GF was pleased that 360 would be more upset with the noise at night. But when I plugged the washer and the micro controller, everything went downhill. I play in live games that require a microphone to communicate with their friends (Call of Duty 4). Whenever the microphone is plugged in, it is a loud annoying hum that will not disappear until I disconnect the washer and microphone controller. Without the attached microphone, sound works fine, but the left speaker tended to go sometimes. Had really high hopes for this helmet, it probably will not return.
    Update 5/22/08:
Buzzing sound problem: I could identify the source of the buzz of the atrium. After connecting the different controllers, a microphone array and enterprise, is the culprit for the wired adapter kit that connects the load 360 to the wireless controller is loaded. The solution is to use a single wireless controller with headset. This means that now I have to reload the wireless controllers when I do not use headphones or buy a separate battery charger. Support Site Turtle Beach is not as easy to navigate, but the FAQ says the connector base AC disturbing, and I suppose he meant the cable Charge Kit. I wish the FAQ / support site has been clearer in its wording.
The left speaker lose: The problem was identified and resolved. The reason was to connect the Onkyo sound system. Onkyo audio system is connected to 360, the digital connection, then Turtle analog headset. Had to disable the digital surround sound, causing fluctuations in the right / left and passed over stereo headphones. This also reduces the high bass booms. (Rifle shooters COD4 is incredibly strong). I decided to connect to Sharp Aquos LCD directly and do not change settings on the Onkyo sound system.
Review I have already given 2 stars. Amazon does not change the stars, but now I would say 4 stars. After troubleshooting, I decided to keep the Turtle Beach headphones. Prospective buyers should be aware that you may need to resolve, depending on the shelf.

I wanted so I can play the Xbox 360 with the volume where I wanted without disturbing my family so they can still play on Live. It gets the job done, so I recommend it.
    Advantages:
      – The sound is good (not great but certainly good)
      – Seems to be very comfortable
    Weaknesses:
      – Number of cables is annoying
      – If I Play and Charge Kit battery connected controller is already loaded, it seems to cause some background hiss. This is probably a problem with the controller, however.
    Requests:
      – Make Xbox Live headset, a wireless feature on all models
      – Make a version that is completely wireless, is a rechargeable base
    Bottom line:
      Recommended
UPDATE: Since I bought the Ear Force X3. My review of it on the product page: http://www. amazon. com/Ear-Force-X3-Headset-Wireless-Audio/dp/B000VHY3GO/ref = cm_cr-mr-title
